All MORATORIUM items are made to order and ship within 14 business days of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
For rush orders, please contact info@moratorium.nyc before your purchase and we will advise if we can expedite your order.
All MORATORIUM orders are shipped from New York, USA.
CURRENCY
All prices are listed in US Dollars.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
An order confirmation will be sent by email once your order is received. A shipment confirmation with tracking number will be provided once your order has shipped.
SHIPPING METHODS
Domestic Orders
Orders to US addresses are shipped via FedEx, with tracking and insurance. The following options are available for US domestic shipping:
- FedEx Express Saver [3 business days]
- FedEx 2Day [2 business days]
- FedEx Standard Overnight
Domestic orders over $500
Domestic orders totaling over $500 currently receive complimentary FedEx Express Saver [3 business days] shipping.
International Orders
International orders are shipped via USPS Express, with tracking and insurance.
MORATORIUM is not responsible for any import fees, duties and taxes incurred on internationally shipped orders. Any such charges are the full responsibility of the recipient.
Shipping restrictions
MORATORIUM ships orders Monday—Friday, excluding holidays.
MORATORIUM is unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
RETURNS POLICY
MORATORIUM is not responsible for damage caused by normal wear-and-tear, unusual handling, usage or treatment.
Stock Items
For stock items, exchanges will be honored up to 14 days from when the product was received. Returned item(s) must not have been worn and must not show any signs of use. Please email info@moratorium.nyc for a Return Authorization Number. If you do not obtain a Return Authorization Number, your package will not be accepted. Please ship your return using a trackable and insured shipping method. MORATORIUM does not accept responsibility for packages we do not ship, or responsibility for shipping fees, sales taxes or import duties. Please keep the tracking details for your records.Upon receipt of return, MORATORIUM credit will be issued, of which shipping costs are not applicable, and no refunds are accepted.
Made To Order Items
For made to order items, all sales are final.
Exceptional Circumstances
In exceptional circumstances when MORATORIUM issues refunds, refunds will be made using the original form of payment.
PRODUCT CARE
All MORATORIUM jewelry is hand-crafted and requires delicate handling and care in use. MORATORIUM recommends that you do not wear your jewelry in bed or when swimming, or expose your jewelry to bleach or chorine.
Recommended care for MORATORIUM Sterling silver jewelry
All silver naturally tarnishes. To remove tarnish, polish with a soft jewelry cloth.
Recommended care for MORATORIUM plated jewelry
Clean with mild soap and hot water only. Rinse and dry immediately with a clean, non-abrasive cloth.
Do not polish or use jewelry cleaning chemicals, as they will damage the integrity and appearance of the plating finish.
